After you have an appointment and receive your recommendation from a medical marijuana doctor, the next step is to submit your application to the state of Arkansas. The application form can be found on the Arkansas Department of Health's website.
You will need three items to complete the application process to be approved for your Arkansas medical marijuana card:

How Long Will It Take for My Arkansas Medical Marijuana Application to Be Approved?
According to the Arkansas Department of Health, your application can take 10 to 14 days to process. However, patients can be approved and receive their cards much sooner. You can go back to their website and check the status of your application.
How Will I Receive a Copy of My Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card?
Once the state approves your application, you can print the card yourself. However, if you do not print your medical marijuana card, a copy will be mailed to you.
Can I Begin to Visit Dispensaries After I Receive My Arkansas Marijuana Card?
Yes! Once your application has been approved by the Arkansas Department of Health and you have received a copy of your card, you can begin to access licensed Arkansas medical marijuana dispensaries. At the dispensary, you will be able to purchase a wide variety of medical marijuana products including cannabis flower, edibles, vape, tinctures, and more.
