Back in late January, the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission approved to issue a new dispensary license in Zone 7. Scott Hardin of the Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration stated that the new facility in southeast Arkansas will be Nature's Herbs and Wellness located in Pine Bluff. The opening of the dispensary is TBD.
Little Rock residents have also been waiting for the opening of the two dispensaries in the state capital. Fortunately, Herbology and Harvest House of Cannabis have requested their final inspections and are expected to be completed this week. Another Pulaski county dispensary, Natural Relief Dispensary in Sherwood is also anticipating their inspection to
be done this week as well.
The state of Arkansas now has 33 licensed dispensaries, with 17 currently open. The Arkansas medical marijuana amendment allows the state to have up to 40 licensed facilities. Medical marijuana sales recently just passed over $38 million and have sold over 5,900 pounds.
If you are an Arkansan suffering from one of these 18 medical conditions you may be eligible to treat your ailment with medical marijuana, which includes both THC and CBD products.
